MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 8.43 points to 1688.74.

Volume was 26.15 million lots worth RM10.88 million.

Losers outnumbered gainers 160 to 28.
